Reality television stars Yolanda Hadid and David Foster have been embroiled in a contentious divorce case in California for some time. Now it appears that things may get even more acrimonious as Foster contests Hadid’s request for spousal support.
Foster and Hadid have two daughters, Bella Hadid and Gigi Hadid, who have used their appearances on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” as a springboard to become highly successful models. The couple also has a son who has gotten involved in the music industry. Since two of the couple’s children are above the age of 18, and one child is approaching the age of 18, there will probably not be any child custody or child support issues that need to be dealt with in the divorce case.
Foster and Hadid are well-known public figures because of their starring roles on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” a popular reality TV show that airs on the Bravo network. Hadid was diagnosed with Lyme disease a few years ago, leading to more media coverage of the TV star. It is believed that Hadid’s disease may have played a part in the dissolution of her marriage.
One of the major issues in the divorce case now is that Hadid is asking the court to award her spousal support. Hadid has also requested that the court order her ex-spouse to cover her legal fees in the divorce proceedings.
Given the timing of the divorce case, coming on the heels of Hadid being diagnosed with Lyme disease, Foster has taken a lot of heat from the public and endured a great deal of media scrutiny. He recently said in an interview that he continues to provide emotional support to Hadid when it comes to her health. Moreover, said Foster, much of the critical media coverage of him these days is filled with “baseless information.” Foster declared that he has been by his wife’s side for the past four years “as she battled with the complexities of her Lyme diagnosis.”
